Made up of four charming and colourful countries, the UK is one of the world’s most visited and loved tourist destinations. As it is small in size compared to most other tourist destinations, car hire in the UK allows tourists to see a number of famous countries and destinations on the same trip.

If you are flying to the UK, there are a number of airports in the large cities such as London, Manchester, Birmingham and Liverpool. Although cheap car hire in the UK is available in abundance from a number of reliable firms, the countries are well connected by coach and train.

While in the UK, tourists focusing on the south can enjoy the famous capital city of London, Oxford to its west and Bristol, which is just over the Severn from Cardiff in Wales. While in this part of the country, you can enjoy museums, art galleries while also being able to admire some of the world’s finest educational institutions.

In the Midlands, the UK’s ‘second capital’ of Birmingham can be enjoyed and is one of the most culturally diverse cities in Europe with plenty of fine dining to be appraised. While in this neck of the woods, tourists also make sure they visit Nottingham and Sherwood Forest if they are keen historians.

For those who decide to hire it, car rental in the UK can take them even further north to famous cities in Yorkshire such as Sheffield and Leeds. By travelling over the Pennines however, they will find themselves in Manchester, the north’s largest city, while 40 miles down the road is Liverpool if you aren’t keen on heading east instead to Newcastle and eventually Scotland if you carry on north.

Situated along China’s southeastern coast, the city of Hong Kong is one of the most popular business traveller and tourist destinations in Asia. With its stunning skyline, exciting nightlife, massive financial district and gorgeous beaches, it’s no wonder Hong Kong attracts millions of guests each year.

Most visitors to Hong Kong arrive at the massive Hong Kong International Airport, which serves an astounding 48 million passengers annually. The two large terminals are home to more than a dozen agencies offering car rental, so it’s easy to find cheap car hire in Hong Kong when you arrive.

Most people who visit Hong Kong for the first time are immediately awe struck by its amazing skyline. The city offers several free guided walking tours of downtown and the financial district. The architecture walk is especially popular for those that want to see some of Hong Kong’s most amazing structures.

For another great view of downtown, consider using car hire in Hong Kong to visit the famous Victoria Peak. At the top of peak tower, you can get a stunning view of the entire island. The peak also houses many shops and cafés.

Hong Kong is also a famous destination for shoppers looking for a good deal. Because of the city’s special economic status under Chinese law, there are no taxes on many imported goods. Some of the most popular shopping centers are on the Kowloon peninsula, where you will find the miracle mile of high rises, shopping centers and hotels. Kowloon is easily reached with car rental in Hong Kong.

Mexico is in North America and is situated between the United States of America and Belize and Guatemala. Its coastlines comprise of the Pacific Ocean, the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea. Reasons why visitors head to Mexico include the locals, cuisine, history and art. Car hire in Mexico makes it easy to get around.

Many attractions make Mexico a great place to visit. There are more than 6,000 miles of shoreline, splendid architecture, modern cities, snowy Sierra Mountains, jungles, desert and lots more.
World-class cities such as Cancun, Los Cabos, Conzumel, Acapulco and Patzcuaro are in Mexico. More than 20 million visitors come annually, making it one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations. Much of the tourist business centres around beach resorts.

The country of Wales is situated southwest of England by car hire in Wales. Wales may be much smaller than size than England or Scotland, but it is attracting many visitors of its own thanks to its distinct history, culture, and language.

The country is also easy to explore by cheap car hire in Wales, which is particularly easy to find in Cardiff, the capital and largest city of Wales, the historic community of Caernarfon, and the popular seaside resort of Llandudno.

It takes between five and six hours to drive from one end of Wales to the other by car rental in Wales, with a tremendous amount of spectacular scenery in between. Most of the major highways in Wales are in the southern part of the country, including the M4 to London and the M50 to the Midlands.

A more scenic route from Wales to England through the A5 and M54, will take visitors through stunning Snowdonia National Park, the island of Anglesey, and many towering mountains on the way from North Wales to England.

In Wales, all road signs are written in both English and Welsh, and as in the rest of the United Kingdom, drivers travel on the left side of the road with the steering wheel placed on the right side of the vehicle. In most of the popular tourist destinations in Wales, the majority of people speak Welsh. The scenic country roads of Wales are ideal places for visitors to practice driving on the opposite side of the road in a car rental in Wales.

The country of Oman on the eastern shoreline of the Arabian peninsula is an unforgettable drive of four or five hours from Dubai by car hire in Oman. Exploring this rapidly growing Middle Eastern country by car rental in Oman is truly one of the most spectacular road trips this world has to offer.

Getting a cheap car hire in Oman is easier than driving from the United Arab Emirates because visitors must pay cash for the necessary visa to enter Oman in addition to departure taxes when leaving both Oman and the United Arab Emirates by car.

Oman’s capital city of Muscat is connected to the cities of Nizwa and Sur by modern four lane highways, and two lane mountain roads are also common. However, the most popular driving excursions in Oman are along the country’s many wadis, or unsealed roads in the valleys of river beds.

Four wheel drives are the most recommended car hire in Oman for driving through wadis, especially for off road excursions. The safest way to travel through the Oman desert is to drive in a caravan of no fewer than two or three vehicles with plenty of water and gas, and many wadis are also prone to flash flooding.

Other popular Oman driving destinations include the country’s rugged mountain roads and the coastal road between Muscat and Sur. Cell phone reception is very limited in Oman outside of the major cities, and driving in the country can be a risky undertaking, but those who take the proper precautions are rewarded with some of the world’s most spectacular scenery.

Located in the Merrimack Valley about 60 miles north of Boston Harbor, Andover is a small city in northeastern Massachusetts. Most visitors to Andover arrive at Logan International Airport in Boston.

It’s simple to arrange car hire in Andover. Most visitors use one of the many reputable agencies at Logan Airport. Once you have found a rental car, you can begin to explore Boston, Andover and other surrounding suburbs. Before you decide to leave Boston however, consider checking out some of the city’s many local attractions first.

Boston Common is one of the city’s most important historical sites. It also happens to be the oldest public park in the United States. Across the street from the park, you can even visit the bar where the famous American series, Cheers, was filmed. From Boston Common, consider taking the freedom trail, a 2.5-mile walk past 16 historical sites dating back to the American Revolution. Boston Common can easily be reached with cheap car hire in Andover.

Once you have made your way to Andover, there are plenty of local sites to see. Andover is home to several wonderful museums including the Addison Gallery of American Art and the Robert S Peabody Museum. Here you can see archeological findings that tell the story of Native American life prior to the colonization of North America.

You might also use your car rental in Andover to visit Andover Bird Sanctuary. The sanctuary is home to many different species of bird, and features miles of wooded walking trails.

Slovakia is a landlocked country and has common borders with the Czech Republic, Austria, Poland, Ukraine and Hungary. The Carpathian Mountains stretch across the northern part of Slovakia.
The largest city and capital of Slovakia is Bratislava. This city is sited on the mighty River Danube, in the west part of Slovakia. Austria’s capital is only 50kms away. Bratislava’s tourism draws include a historic centre with Baroque palaces, the Grassalkovich Palace, the Danube’s Novy Most bridge and the House of the Good Shepherd clock museum.

Reputable companies provide car rental in Slovakia services here. Bratislava Castle is beside the Danube. The D1 and D2 motorways are nearby and provide convenient routes out of the city. Bojnice Castle is about a 120km car hire in Slovakia drive from Bratislava.

This fabulous castle is one of Slovakia’s principal attraction’s. It is also the venue for several annual events including the International Ghost Festival and a music festival. Heading east from Bojnice are the Tatra peaks in the Carpathians. In winter this region is a popular destination for skiers. Ruzomberok Ski Park is one of venues.

Northwest of Slovakia’s second largest city, Kosice, is Gerlachovsky Stit in the High Tatras. This landmark peak, scenic lakes and valleys offer additional ski destinations and, in summer, hiking.

Brazil is a South American country. Brazil occupies around half of the continent and has land borders with most of the continent’s other countries. The Atlantic Ocean is Brazil’s eastern boundary. Brazil offers fabulous beaches, old colonial towns and Amazon rainforest. A comfortable transport choice is car hire in Brazil.

Brazil’s principal landmark is the city of Rio de Janeiro. Rio is famed for its stunning Copacabana, Leblon and Ipanema beaches, cultural draws and carnivals. Copacabana Beach has forts at both ends. In between are bars, restaurants and clubs. A cable car ride up Sugar Loaf Mountain gives panoramic views of Guanabara Bay, beaches and dense city forests.

Reputable companies provide car rental in Brazil services. Quinta da Boa Vista Park contains one of Rio’s estimated 50 museums. South is Arpoador Beach which offers some of the city’s best surfing. The BR-101 highway travels down from Porto Seguro, past Rio and on to Sao Paulo.

Porto Seguro is best explored with car hire in Brazil and boasts dazzling beaches, the Cidade Alta (historic quarter) and Passarela do Alcool’s thriving nightlife venues. South, Recife de Fora’s clear waters are great for snorkelling. Coral and colourful fish abound here. Monte Pascoal National Park is nearby and boasts swampland and Atlantic forest which is home to rare species including the collar sloth.
